American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a JCAHO-accredited regional health center in northwestern Arizona serving the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities.

Details

• Saturday, Sunday, and Monday schedule working three 13-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Diagnostic imaging department performing general MRI and MRA procedures
• Regional health center serving a 4,400 square mile area, functioning as a referral center for the western Navajo and Hopi Reservations
• PACS/RIS system used for imaging and charting

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience required
• ARRT certification in both Radiology (R) and MRI (MR) required
• Current BLS certification from the AHA required
• Active Arizona State Radiology and MRI license required; license required if applicable
• Completed radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology
• Experience with PACS/RIS systems, email, and general computer programs required

Additional Information

• Orientation is held every two weeks
• COVID-19 vaccination required; flu vaccination required, though exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form
• Fingerprinting must be completed prior to start and is conducted via mail during the compliance process
• This facility is located in a very rural area; on-site housing may be available but is not guaranteed — a housing application must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start date
• The facility serves a culturally diverse community including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute tribal members
• The broader care team includes surgeons, internal medicine physicians, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, psychiatrists, ENT and orthopedic specialists, nurse practitioners, CRNAs, and more
