Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital CT/X-Ray unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) and (CT) certifications.

Details

• Acute care hospital CT/X-Ray unit setting
• Equipment includes Siemens Sensation 64-slice CT, Siemens Edge 128-slice CT, Carestream and GE portables, OEC C-arms, and Philips Rad and R/F
• Approximately 80 procedures per day across X-Ray and CT
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR
• 12-hour night shifts with a 7:30 PM (1930) start time, every other weekend (EOW)
• First to float between CT and X-Ray, with portable CXR floating anywhere in-house
• On-site radiologist available 7 days a week from approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; teleradiologist available during off-hours
• Holiday rotation with core staff required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT/Radiology
• Active BLS certification required
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• California CRT license with Fluoroscopy permit required
• California state license must be active at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Must provide a copy of driver's license for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Perform CT scanning, X-Ray, fluoroscopy, portable CXR, and C-arm procedures
• 3-day unit orientation provided
• Teal scrubs required; travelers must provide their own radiation badge
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates previously employed PRN through an outside staffing firm will be considered
