American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience to support invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures in a multidisciplinary lab setting.

Details

• 13-week contract in a cardiac catheterization lab setting
• Works in a multidisciplinary lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures
• 5 days per week on 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Call requirement of 6+ shifts per pay period
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience in a US hospital required
• RCIS or ARRT certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent years of experience required
• CPI certification required for this position
• Active license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable
• Must have a US Social Security Number
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

• Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment
• Applies prescribed procedures for the operation of radiology imaging equipment
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
• Certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
