American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist with 2+ years of experience, including pediatric and EMU monitoring, for a night shift contract position.

• Work is performed in an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) with additional coverage for inpatient EEG requests as needed
• Patient population includes both adult and pediatric patients
• Night shifts, 5x8 hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Holiday coverage is required for holidays that fall within the scheduled shift

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of EEG technologist experience required
• EMU monitoring experience is required
• Pediatric EEG experience is required
• At least 12 months of experience in the applicable position per facility requirements
• 2 professional references at supervisor level or above required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include monitoring patients in the EMU and performing maintenance on EEGs, as well as covering inpatient EEG requests
• A manager interview is required for this position
• Candidates must not have been employees of this facility within the previous 6 months
• All time-off requests must be submitted and approved in advance; travelers are not guaranteed holidays off
