American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer with at least 2 years of adult and pediatric echocardiography experience and dual AE/PE registration for a 13-week travel assignment in Madison, WI.

Details

• Pediatric Echo Lab accredited by the IAC in pediatric transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
• Patient population spans pediatrics through adulthood across the continuum of care
• Care settings include outpatient clinics, inpatient units (AFCH primary), UH, UH Cath Lab, and UH Emergency Department
• Facility is a Magnet®-designated Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU
• 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
• One weekday call per week and one weekend call every 7 weeks
• Travelers are first to float and may be scheduled across multiple units or locations within the organization based on staffing needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of lab experience performing both adult and pediatric echocardiography
• Registered in Adult Echocardiography (AE) required
• Registered in Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program or an associate degree in Biological Sciences, Radiology, Ultrasound, or a relevant health sciences field required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the primary work site
• License required if applicable
