American Traveler is hiring a Special Procedures Tech for a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab in Staten Island, NY, requiring 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and proficiency in scrubbing and first assist.

Details

• High-volume Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 procedure rooms performing cardiac catheterizations, structural heart, and peripheral procedures
• Adult-only patient population
• Primary shift is 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM, with varying start times between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• ARRT(R) certification required
• NY State DOH Radiologic Technologist license required (if applicable)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS required
• Demonstrated experience scrubbing and first assisting
• Interventional Radiography experience preferred
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the past year are required for consideration

• Scrubs are provided
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
• Only AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications are accepted
• If any certifications are expiring during the assignment, a renewal receipt or scheduled course dates will be needed
