American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience and RDMS-OB certification for a travel assignment at an AIUM-accredited outpatient women's health facility.

Details

• Outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) setting at a women's health center, with potential occasional float to additional Cone Health campuses as needed
• Primarily serves high-risk obstetric patients across all trimesters, including multiple pregnancies, placenta previa, and fetal anatomical surveys
• Procedures include perinatal ultrasound, anatomy scans, Dopplers (umbilical cord, M-mode), transvaginal ultrasound, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
• Equipment used includes Samsung Hera W10 and Samsung RS 85 Prestige
• Epic EMR required; AS OB Reporting required
• Schedule is 4x9.5-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday with variable shift times (approximately 7:15 AM–4:45 PM)
• Float to alternate campus locations possible on limited days; one location operates 24/7, with rare potential for weekend or overnight float shifts
• No on-call required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experience required
• RDMS - OB/GYN certification required, with MFM experience
• BLS required
• ARDMS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Outpatient experience required; teaching hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency with high-risk OB, transvaginal ultrasound, Dopplers, amniocentesis, fetal anatomical surveys, and CVS
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Perform perinatal ultrasounds for high-risk patients including anatomy scans, Dopplers, transvaginal exams, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling in an AIUM-accredited environment
• All RNs (regardless of specialty) are required to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed and study materials are not provided by the facility
• Orientation includes non-billable unit-based modules averaging 2–4 hours
• The facility has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; requests made after submission will not be accepted
