Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and active RCIS and BLS certifications for a Level I Trauma Cardiac Cath Lab assignment.

Details

• Work in an acute care Level I Trauma setting with 719 beds
• Assignment is in the Cardiac Cath Lab, covering EP, IR, and Cath Lab cases
• Unit consists of 11 labs handling 40-50 cases per day
• Shifts are primarily day shifts, starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM, with 8, 10, or 12 hour shift options
• On-call rotation includes 3-5 days per month with at least one weekend per month
• Epic is the charting system used and experience is required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI required
• Active state or compact licensure required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
• Copy of valid driver’s license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from the last 12 months and another peer or supervisor reference from the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

• Technologists will assist in EP, IR, and standard cardiac catheterization procedures
• Team collaborates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Orientation includes 12 hours of training
