American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of travel experience for a hospital OR position at a Level II Trauma Center in Washington State.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 379 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center
• Assignment in a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) unit
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call is required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays; call runs from end of shift to 7:00 AM the following day, and from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekends and holidays
• Call frequency varies by service line and staffing levels, ranging from approximately 5 to 9 call shifts per schedule period
• Floating between all facilities within Washington State is required; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of travel experience as a Surgical Technologist required
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Unlicensed personnel are required to wear solid hunter green scrubs; print tops are not permitted
• Minimal RTO is expected; a small number of days may be approved, but excessive RTO requests may impact consideration
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront; requests made after submission or offer may be denied and could risk contract termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Free parking is available in designated employee/visitor surface parking lots on site
