American Traveler is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of experience and current CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification.

Details

• Work in the Sterile Processing unit supporting surgical services
• Night shift schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday
• Handles an average surgical case volume of 60 and processes 500-600 trays daily
• 1:3 staff to assignment ratio
• Requires experience with SPM tracking and VPRO systems
• Orthopedics, Robotics, Neuro, Endoscopy, and Spine case experience required
• Follows AAMI ST79 standards in all processing tasks
• Locals accepted within a 75-mile radius

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Sterile Processing Technician experience
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification required and must be current
• Must be familiar with and experienced in applying AAMI ST79 standards
• Experience with SPM tracking and VPRO systems is required
• Prior exposure to Orthopedics, Robotics, Neuro, Endoscopy, and Spine cases required
• One supervisory reference from within the last year is required for consideration
• Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for processing and sterilizing a high volume of surgical trays and instrumentation
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation sessions for onboarding
• All required documentation must be submitted by Friday at 4 PM EST the week prior to the start date
• First-time travelers will be considered if AAMI ST79 experience is met
