American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT certification and CT simulation experience for a day shift oncology position in Iowa.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Treats oncology patient population with procedures including SBRT and SRS
• Uses Varian TrueBeam and AIRA Record and Verify systems
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification required
• Active BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active Iowa State Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of current experience in Radiation Therapy required
• CT simulation experience required
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and SBRT/SRS required
• Driver’s license required
• Resume and skills checklist completed within the last year required
• At least one supervisory reference from the past 2 years required

Additional Information

• Provide radiation therapy as part of an interdisciplinary oncology team
• Role may involve floating to other local campuses within the same discipline as needed
• Orientation provided with 16 hours of onboarding
• Professional dress code with requirements to follow departmental policies
• A taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility is required for full travel compensation
• Previous travel experience is preferred but not required
• Returning travelers must not have been employed at the facility within the past 12 months
