Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with ARRT(T) and BLS certifications and at least one year of experience for a day shift position in an acute care hospital.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital setting with a dedicated radiation therapy unit
• Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Floating between like units and facilities within the state is required
• Patient caseload primarily includes oncology patients
• Uses Epic for electronic medical records

Requirements

• Active ARRT(T) certification and BLS required
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Experience with Epic charting system
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty or setting
• License required if applicable
• Certifications must be submitted for consideration
• Pending license not accepted

Additional Information

• All travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state as needed
• Black scrubs required for radiology
• Free parking provided on the first day; assignment parking details given during orientation
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former perm staff must wait at least three months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility
• Requested time off must be included with application; schedule or time-off changes post-submit may be denied
• Minimal to no requested time off preferred for this assignment
