Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT certification, and Ohio radiology license for Monday to Friday day shifts.

Details

• Work in a radiation oncology department as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional morning QA shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• No call and no weekend shifts are required
• Experience with Elekta equipment and HDR brachytherapy is a plus

Requirements

• Active Ohio Radiology license (license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• Strong understanding of cancer, radiation biology, radiation therapy techniques, and radiation safety

Additional Information

• Applicants may be considered from within a 50-mile radius
• Deliver radiation treatments, participate in treatment planning, and perform morning QA as needed
• Responsible for high accuracy, patient safety, and documentation of all treatment activities
• Work closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and other team members
• Support patient care by providing information on self-care and addressing patient concerns
• First-time travelers may apply if required experience and certifications are met
• Scrubs or professional attire required
