Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech for day shifts in a hospital CVOR unit requiring independent scrubbing skills.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital CVOR/operating room setting
• Day shifts are 10 hours each, starting at 6:30 AM
• Rotational on-call coverage required, including weekend call which is a single 24-hour period on either Saturday or Sunday
• 13-week assignment with a full-time schedule of 4 shifts per week
• Not open to local candidates living within 50 miles

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program with verifiable credentials
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room or similar setting
• Proficiency in scrubbing independently with heart/cardiac surgical teams
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include supporting surgical cardiovascular procedures and maintaining sterile fields
• Collaborate with an experienced CVOR heart team in a fast-paced environment
• Rotational call coverage may include one weekend day per week
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate independent scrubbing capabilities for CV cases
