American Traveler seeks a CVOR Certified Surgical Technician with at least 2 years of cardiothoracic experience for a hospital surgical unit assignment.

Details

• Work in a hospital surgical unit with a primary focus on CVOR cases
• Assignment includes rotating 8 or 10 hour shifts between 06:00 and 19:30
• Rotating weekday and weekend call shifts based on department needs
• Holiday call coverage required
• May be required to float onsite within skillset or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years ST experience in cardiothoracic surgery required
• Robotic and general surgical experience preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current license required if applicable with primary source verification within 30 days of assignment
• Ability to provide US Social Security Number and US address

Additional Information

• May participate in cases within the robotic and general service lines
• Holiday call coverage is part of the assignment
• Radius rule applies for local candidates and may affect compensation
• Must submit a copy of Driver’s License for consideration
• Covid vaccination is not required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US address
