American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with experience in neuro, vascular, and visceral studies and current Florida licensure or RCIS certification.

• Position based in an interventional radiology unit
• Performs procedures across all age groups
• Day shifts are 10 hours, typically from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Role involves scrubbing and circulating for a variety of interventional procedures
• Must be knowledgeable in sterile technique and a broad range of interventional procedures including neuro, vascular, and visceral

Requirements

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology recognized by ARRT and/or RCIS program
• Florida State License and/or RCIS certification required
• ARRT certification and/or RCIS required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• At least some experience in general radiology with emphasis on angio/interventional procedures (less than one year minimum)
• Preferred: 1-2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Preferred: ARRT Vascular Interventional (VI) certification
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Duties include preparing and operating interventional radiology equipment, scrubbing, and circulating during procedures
• Must be able to work with patients of all ages
• Interviews are conducted by the Unit Manager
• FL ACHA processing may take up to 14 business days
• Seasonal influenza vaccination required; medical exemptions allowed with proper documentation and participation in an educational module if declined
• No RTO allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment; maximum 8 days RTO permitted for a 13-week contract
• A 50-mile radius rule applies for candidate eligibility
