Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT certification and at least 2 years of experience for a hospital-based day shift role using Elekta equipment.

Details

• Work in a hospital Radiation Therapy department
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Operate radiation oncology equipment including CT simulator, linear accelerator, QA dosimeters, and diode system
• Uses Elekta equipment for delivery of radiation therapy

Requirements

• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
• Current CPR certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• High school diploma, GED, or higher education required
• Experience at facilities with 500+ bed count preferred
• Elekta experience is a plus
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Deliver prescribed courses of ionizing radiation under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist
• Adhere to departmental protocols and standards with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with a team including a Manager and Lead Therapist
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate except for specific facility restrictions
