American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with Siemens CT equipment experience and advanced CT certification for a full-time weekday schedule.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based computed tomography department
• Day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Imaging performed using Siemens CT equipment
• Patient care includes both adult and pediatric populations
• Procedures include obtaining CT scans, multi-planar and 3D reconstructions, and administering oral and IV contrast agents
• Responsible for image processing and transfer using PACS, EPIC, and IMPAX systems

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
• Current registration with ARRT or registry eligible (must provide diploma if registry eligible)
• Advanced certification in CT required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (HCP BLS) required
• Must maintain annual registry status and continuing education requirements
• Previous Siemens CT equipment experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Key responsibilities include patient identification, protocol-based imaging, image manipulation, contrast administration, and charge verification
• Must ensure patient safety and understanding throughout the imaging process
• Responsible for precepting new employees and students as needed
• Clean and orderly work environment expected
• May have the potential to convert from temporary to permanent employment based on experience and internal position availability
• Must comply with background check and drug screen procedures within specified timelines
