Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with active Oregon licensure and BLS for a day shift assignment utilizing advanced Varian TrueBeam technology.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
• Day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday with no weekend coverage
• Patient population includes those receiving 2D, 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and SRS treatments
• Treatments performed with high-energy Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators
• Uses ARIA EMR for maintaining patient treatment records

Requirements

• Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiation Therapy license or ability to obtain prior to start (license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT R.T.(T) credential
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a staff therapist preferred

Additional Information

• Provide safe, quality radiation therapy utilizing individualized treatment plans
• Responsibilities include direct patient care, patient education, and maintaining accurate treatment records
• Work environment includes the use of advanced technology and computer-controlled systems
• First-time travelers will be considered if all requirements are met
