Description

American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and required BLS and NCCT certifications for a day shift operating room assignment.

Details

• Work in a hospital operating room setting with potential floating to an ambulatory surgery center
• Day shift schedule (5x8 hours), 6:30am to 3:00pm
• On-call required for 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) and 4 weekday calls over 6 weeks
• Care provided primarily for adolescents and adults
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions are available
• Scrubs are provided for staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience is preferred
• BLS and NCCT certifications are required
• One supervisory reference from within the last year is required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
• License required if applicable
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius, but at a different rate

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Staff may be required to float to the ambulatory surgery center as needed
• Work attire includes provided scrubs
