American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with active Wyoming license, ARRT registration, and at least 3 years of experience for a dayshift position in a radiation oncology department.

Details

• Dayshift position in a radiation oncology setting
• Adult oncology patient population
• Administers prescribed radiation therapy to patients
• Calculates and records treatment parameters including dosage and exposure settings
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active Wyoming Radiation Technologist license required if applicable
• Current ARRT registration in good standing
• Associate’s degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiation Technology required
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 60 days of hire
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiation oncology techniques, treatment planning, and dosimetry
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Additional Information

• Responsible for evaluating and ensuring patient responsiveness and quality care during therapy
• Participates in patient and community education initiatives related to radiation therapy
• May assist with billing and coding for radiation therapy procedures
• Expected to maintain a compassionate and professional patient interaction
• Must adhere to ethical and legal standards and protect confidential information
• Position may require learning and adapting to new software programs
