Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with ARRT(T) and BLS certifications and 1+ year of experience for day shifts in a hospital radiation oncology department.

Details

• Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department
• Adult patient population
• Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekend or call requirements
• No floating to other departments
• Utilize Varian TrueBeam, Eclipse, and GE CT Sim equipment
• EMR systems used are Epic and Aria

Requirements

• Active ARRT(T) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Experience with TrueBeam, DIBH gating, and CT simulation required
• RRT education required
• License required if applicable
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Completion of Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Department of Human Services and FBI Department of Aging fingerprinting, and PA State Police Clearance required

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivering daily radiation therapy using advanced technology
• Role does not support any housing expenses
• Facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Scrub color is any; denim and camouflage attire are not permitted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travelers
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• COVID vaccination card required
• RQI certifications are not accepted
