American Traveler is seeking an experienced Dialysis Technician with 2+ years of inpatient experience and proficiency with Fresenius machines for an evening shift assignment.

Details

• Work in an inpatient hospital dialysis unit within a level I trauma and teaching hospital
• Patient population includes those requiring renal dialysis support
• Requires extensive experience with Fresenius dialysis machines
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with variable days off
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend
• Clinician may float within scope across ICU units as needed
• Epic charting system is used
• Solid color scrubs are allowed; light blue scrubs provided on the unit

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient dialysis experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• NNCC CCHT certification required
• Washington MA-HT license required; license required if applicable
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
• Teaching hospital and trauma hospital experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Pending license not accepted

Additional Information

• Primary responsibility is providing dialysis support using Fresenius machines
• Team environment within a large, high-acuity hospital
• Solid color scrubs are allowed and unit provides light blue scrubs
• Prior staff must be separated from the facility for at least 18 months before returning as a traveler
• Return Time Off (RTO) cannot be requested during orientation week and should be kept to a minimum
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
