American Traveler is hiring a Lead Dialysis Technician with 2+ years of inpatient dialysis experience, 1 year in a supervisory role, and strong Fresenius machine expertise.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based dialysis unit with floating to ICU units as needed
• Lead/supervisor role overseeing daily operations and staff
• Uses Fresenius dialysis machines (required)
• Patient population includes adult acute and ICU patients
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM with variable days off
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Floating within scope across ICU dialysis units
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient dialysis experience and 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
• Current BLS, NNCC CCHT, and WA MA-HT license required
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required with no exceptions
• Experience with Fresenius machines required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and Level I Trauma experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include supervising dialysis staff, performing and overseeing treatments, and ensuring machine maintenance
• Solid color scrubs required; unit provides light blue scrubs if needed
• Parking is available onsite for a daily fee, with offsite options and shuttle service
• RTO cannot be requested during orientation week and should be kept to a minimum
• Prior staff must be separated for 18 months before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted
• This is a Magnet-designated, teaching, and Level I Trauma facility
