American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for an OR position requiring a minimum of 4 years of operating room experience and proficiency in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics.

Details

• Position is within a hospital operating room covering service lines including Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Day shift with three 12-hour shifts per week from 10:30 to 23:00
• Every other weekend required
• Variable call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Floating within facility and to outpatient areas as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of operating room experience required
• Experience with Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics required
• Professional licensure must be active at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Copies of all relevant certifications must be provided
• Two supervisory references are highly preferred; must be from a manager or above
• Unit accepts first-time travelers

Additional Information

• All candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine fit before final selection
• Travel pairs are not permitted to work the same shift on the same unit
• No special scheduling or alternate shift requests will be accommodated; shifts are fixed
• Returning employees must have a minimum one-year break from all affiliated locations before returning as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed, but no RTO permitted during the first week or during specified holiday blackout dates
• Major holiday coverage is required; no holiday RTO can be requested if one or two major holidays occur during the assignment period
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
