Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in CT and X-Ray procedures with ARRT (CT, R) and BLS certification for a 3x12 day shift schedule.

Details

• Work in a CT department covering both outpatient (adult and pediatric) and Emergency Department cases
• Required to perform both CT and X-Ray exams including Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, and specialized CT studies
• Day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Occasional floating to other facilities may be needed
• Uses PACS, portable imaging equipment, and Siemens CT systems; Samsung X-Ray experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years CT and X-Ray experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active ARRT certification in CT and R required
• Experience with both outpatient and emergency department imaging required
• Must be able to start approximately 8 to 9 IVs per shift
• Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR, PACS, and portable imaging equipment required
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing a wide range of CT and X-Ray exams on adults and pediatric patients, including cardiac and perfusion studies
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Dress code requirements for scrubs or attire are not specified
• Be prepared for a zero-tolerance policy on tardiness and unexcused absences
