American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with cardiac cath lab and neuro intervention experience for a day shift contract assignment.

Details

• Work in a cardiac catheterization lab handling both cardiac and neuro interventional procedures
• Caseload includes STEMI support, vascular emergencies, pacemaker insertions, Impella and balloon pump insertions, and neuro interventional radiology cases
• Day shifts with 5x8 hour schedule, start time between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM depending on scheduled cases
• On-call requirement is 24/7 for one week on, one week off

Requirements

• Cardiac Cath Lab experience and neuro intervention required
• Circulating experience required
• Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) required
• Associates degree in applied science from an accredited radiology or cardiovascular technology school required
• Current CPR certification required
• Interventional radiology experience preferred
• ARRT certification preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for cardiac and neuro procedures as well as supportive duties for a diverse patient population across the age continuum
• Reports to the supervisor of the cath lab and works under the guidance of the catheterization laboratory technologist
• License required if applicable
