Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including IV placement and CT studies, for a night shift opportunity.

Details

• Work in a CT department using Siemens and GE CT scanners
• Night shift schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Friday through Monday, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM
• Handles outpatient, emergency department, and inpatient CT volumes
• Level 2 or 3 trauma experience preferred
• Unit typically has two technologists per shift
• Epic is used for charting
• Weekend shifts are required
• No call required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT (R)(CT) registration required
• Proficient in placing IVs and performing outpatient CT studies
• Comfortable working in fast-paced ED and inpatient settings
• Experience in Level 2 or 3 trauma center preferred
• First time travelers will be considered
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Gray scrubs are the required dress code
• Main responsibilities include performing CT scans, IV placements, and managing high volume workflow
• Work alongside another CT technologist for support during shifts
• RTO (requested time off) during certain blackout periods is not allowed, with a maximum of 10 approved RTO days outside these periods
• Local candidates are accepted if residing within 75 miles of the facility
