American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of interventional cardiology experience and current RN, RRT, or RCIS certification.

Details

• Work in an adult cardiac catheterization lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Setting includes 90 beds and uses GE equipment
• Responsibilities may include coverage of cath, stress testing, TEE, and tilt procedures
• Shifts are from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM with on-call requirements for more than 12 days per month
• Possible floating to interventional radiology when needed
• Cerner EHR is used in this department

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• RN, RRT, or RCIS certification required; license required if applicable
• Experience with GE equipment required
• COVID vaccination card, Social Security number, and date of birth required for consideration
• Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates must not have been permanent staff at any LifePoint facility in the past 12 months
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Must not be employed full time elsewhere

Additional Information

• Preferred experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care
• Typical patient population presents with coronary artery disease
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Bi-weekly orientation is offered
