American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with NJ RT licensure, ARRT, and BLS certification for a weekday schedule with on-call and weekend requirements.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based radiology department
• Perform X-ray procedures using a variety of imaging equipment
• Schedule is Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with on-call responsibilities and every other weekend
• Requires use of Epic EMR system; experience preferred
• Travelers may be required to float to a sister hospital

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography school
• Active NJ State RT license required if applicable
• Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
• 1-3 years’ experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Demonstrated proficiency with imaging equipment including setup, use, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Current in clinical practice trends and healthcare informatics

Additional Information

• Provide imaging and treatment processes according to state, federal, and professional standards
• Responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring patient safety and comfort
• May need to implement procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures
• No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
