American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with ortho and Epic experience for a hospital operating room position requiring BLS certification.

Details

• Position is in the operating room of an 84 bed hospital with 5 surgical suites
• Day shift available with 8 or 10 hour options (7-3:30 or 7-5:30)
• Night call required one night weekly and weekend call every 4th or 5th weekend
• Heavy orthopedic surgical caseload
• Omnicell is used for medication management
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• NBSTSA certification required
• Ortho experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• MA surgical technologist license required if applicable
• Candidates must have a 6+ month separation from employment at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility to be considered
• Radius rule: candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• COVID vaccine and booster, as well as Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions accepted)

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of 3-5 days
• Scrub color is blue
• Pass/fail Tele/ECG and medication testing required for some campuses
• No local candidates considered except for specific hard to fill modalities
• Returning employees or travelers must observe a 6-month break between assignments at any affiliated facility
