American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT and X-Ray experience, ARRT certification, and strong IV skills for night shifts.

Details

• Work in a CT and X-Ray department covering outpatient (adult and pediatric) and emergency department settings
• Night shift schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12s)
• Performs both CT and X-Ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, pelvis, upper and lower extremities
• CT studies include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction, cardiac CT (pulmonary vein, calcium scoring, perfusion studies)
• Expected to start 8-9 IVs per shift
• Use of PACS, Siemens and Samsung (preferred) equipment, and EPIC EMR
• May occasionally float to other facilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT and X-Ray technologist experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT (CT and R) certification required (license required if applicable)
• Experience in outpatient and emergency department settings required
• PACS and portable imaging experience required; Siemens required and Samsung X-Ray preferred
• Mandatory experience using EPIC EMR
• Proficiency with starting IVs and performing a variety of CT and X-Ray exams
• Pediatric imaging and infant experience preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Night shift coverage is for three consecutive nights weekly
• Performs a range of both routine and emergency CT and X-Ray exams across multiple body regions
• Must be flexible and may be asked to float to other facilities as needed
