Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and strong conscious sedation and telemetry skills.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with interventional radiology cases
• Short term acute care setting with 147 staffed beds
• Average daily census of 10-12 patients
• Day shifts are 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required approximately 12 days per month including weekends
• No floating within scope required
• Uses Cerner for EMR; experience preferred
• Uses Xper, Phillips Lab, and Siemens Lab equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with conscious sedation and telemetry monitoring required
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions may be granted for medical or religious reasons
• License required if applicable
• Pending license not accepted
• Local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers accepted with Cath Lab experience

Additional Information

• Duties include performing cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
• Cath Lab and STEMI call required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Parking provided at no cost
• RTO not allowed in contract but may be discussed during interview
