American Traveler is seeking an EEG Technologist with at least 2 years of EEG and EMU monitoring experience, including pediatric care and holiday coverage.

• Position is in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and may require covering inpatient EEG requests
• Night shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 23:00 to 7:00
• Work includes performing and maintaining EEGs and EMU monitoring
• Requires work on holidays that fall within scheduled shifts
• Work is in a drug and tobacco-free hospital setting with a natural nail policy

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of EEG technologist experience
• EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) monitoring experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• Graduation from an accredited school (diploma, associate, or BSN accepted; ACEN and CCNE accreditation accepted)
• License required if applicable
• Must not have been employed at the facility within the last 6 months
• Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining EEGs, including EMU and inpatient studies
• Holiday coverage is required for shifts that occur on holidays
• RTO (time off) requests must be approved and included in the contract
• Team interviews are required prior to placement
• Facility strictly enforces a drug, tobacco, and smoke-free environment
• Candidates should not exceed 40 hours per week without management approval
