Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of radiology experience and an active Massachusetts license for a multi-age patient population.

Details

• Work in a hospital cat scan department performing computed tomography procedures
• Schedule includes Tuesday and Friday 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, and every other Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Care provided to patients ranging from newborn to geriatric
• Must be able to insert and remove IVs
• EPIC EMR is used and experience is preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT certification as RT(R) or RT(N)
• ARRT registry in Computed Tomography preferred; if not present at hire, must obtain within one year
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Licensed by the State of Massachusetts Radiation Control Board; MA conditional licenses not accepted
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs CT imaging procedures under the direction of a qualified physician and technical specialist
• Will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Team structure includes oversight by a CT Operations Manager
• All local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from Boston to qualify for standard rate
