American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of fresh heart case experience for an operating and recovery room assignment.

Details

• Work in an operating and recovery room focusing on cardiovascular surgeries
• Patient population includes cardiovascular surgical cases, specifically fresh heart procedures
• 8-hour shifts from 07:00 to 15:30 with on-call responsibilities
• Schedule alternates weekly between 36 and 48 hours
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions are available

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist, specifically with fresh heart cases
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Certification through NCCT or AST required
• Active Kentucky or compact state license required if applicable
• Copy of driver's license and two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Travel pairs are not allowed except under special unit circumstances
• Assignment confirmation must be completed within 24 hours of accepting an offer
• All candidates undergo a bi-weekly orientation prior to starting
