American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT registry for day shift assignments.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital with 244 licensed beds and no trauma designation
• Work in the Interventional Radiology department serving ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations
• Average of 8 procedures performed daily, including anesthesia cases as needed
• Uses Siemens Icono Suite, IVUS, Sonosite ultrasound, and Bayer/Medrad power injector
• EMR is Epic with Epic Radiant RIS and Philips iSite PACS
• Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No call, weekend, or holiday shifts required
• Department operates at full capacity and offers Radiology Nursing and Guest Services support
• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the hospital unit

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years interventional radiology experience required
• Completion of an ANA accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or accredited Radiology Interventional Program required
• Current ARRT registry and BLS certification required
• Procedure-based experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• First-time travelers will be considered
• License required if applicable

• Main duties include performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures for diverse patient populations
• Position is supported by radiology nursing and transport services
• Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding and up to 1 week in the department as needed
• Scrub attire is hospital greens, provided by the facility

• RTO subject to manager approval
