Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of recent open heart, vascular, and endovascular experience for a CVOR position at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Details

• Work in a hospital surgical department with 29 ORs across two buildings
• Cases include open heart, vascular, endovascular, cardiothoracic, trauma, and robotic procedures
• Utilizes 4 Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical Systems, 2 endovascular ORs, 2 cardiothoracic ORs, 1 BrainSuite, 2 trauma ORs, and 1 cystoscopy OR
• Handles 30-40 total cases per day
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with regular call and holiday call requirements

Requirements

• Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification
• BLS certification is required
• At least 2 years of CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience within the last 6 months
• Proven experience in open heart, vascular, and endovascular procedures
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• License required if applicable

• Will participate in a high-volume surgical program with diverse and complex cases
• Must be comfortable working in a technologically advanced environment with multiple specialized OR suites
• Regular call and holiday call coverage are mandatory
