Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of recent multi-specialty experience for a weekday OR assignment with call responsibilities.

Details

• Work in a hospital operating room with a weekday day shift schedule from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm
• Overnight on-call duty required from 3:15 pm to 7:00 am Monday through Friday, and 7:00 am to 6:59 am on weekends
• One weekend of call coverage required per month
• Patient caseload includes General, OB/GYN, Urology, Orthopedics, and GI surgeries

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in Operating Room settings
• Experience in General, OB/GYN, Urology, Orthopedic, and GI surgical cases required
• Active CST certification by NBSTSA or NCCT required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include supporting surgical procedures, preparing instruments, and assisting the surgical team as needed
• Flu vaccination is required; exemptions are not accepted
• References are required for consideration
