American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist with at least 3 years of current experience and a valid NYS license for a night shift contract position.

Details

• Work in an acute care hospital setting
• 16-hour night shifts on Friday and Saturday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every fourth weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Utilizes EPIC EMR—experience required
• Operating room experience is strongly preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of current X-Ray technologist experience required
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• ARRT (R) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Permanent address must not be within excluded NY counties (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington)
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
• One supervisory signed reference from within the last two years required
• Profile must include matching permanent address and valid government-issued ID

Additional Information

• Completion of Welle verbal de-escalation bundle training or CPI Crisis Prevention training is required for onboarding
• A negative 14-panel drug screen (with specified substances) is required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• COVID vaccination is strongly encouraged
• Only up to 5 days of requested time off will be approved; all requests must be submitted before placement
• Orientation is provided
• 8-hour non-billable orientation included
• Travelers from certain NY counties are not eligible for consideration
• Previous and current agency staff must comply with updated onboarding training requirements
