Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 6 months of vascular experience and RDCS/RVT credentials.

Details

• Work in a vascular ultrasound department in a clinical setting
• Perform vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Doppler studies
• Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts
• One weekend call shift every 6 to 7 weeks
• No regular on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months vascular ultrasound experience required
• ARDMS certification with RDCS and RVT required (license required if applicable)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Skill in vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Doppler procedures required

Additional Information

• Operate imaging equipment and review images for diagnostic quality
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and communicate findings to healthcare providers
• Alert physicians to urgent problems identified in imaging
• No more than 5 days of requested time off permitted
