American Traveler is seeking an IR Tech with ARRT(R), BLS, and at least 18 months to 2 years of interventional radiology experience for a hospital-based assignment.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting in the interventional radiology unit
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures for a patient population ranging from pediatric through geriatric
• Use of Cerner EMR is required
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required: 10 shifts per month, including every 3rd or 4th weekend
• May need to scrub into procedures as needed
• Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of interventional radiology experience required
• Active ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required
• Current Indiana Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Knowledge of sterile technique and ability to maneuver equipment and adapt to patient needs
• Travelers' education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution
• Pending IN state license is acceptable if already applied for
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays as part of the department schedule
• RTO policy allows auto-approval of up to 5 days of requested time off
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
