American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with recent operating room experience, including advanced orthopedic and robotic procedures.

Details

• Position based in a hospital operating room setting
• Patient population includes total joint, ortho spine, neurosurgery, ENT, ophthalmology (vitrectomy), and robotic cases
• Day shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
• On-call required 3 times in an 8 week period, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• EPIC is used for charting and documentation

Requirements

• Successful completion of a surgical technologist program is required; certification not required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Recent experience as a surgical technologist in the operating room, including total joints, ortho spine, neuro, ENT, ophthalmology (vitrectomy), and robotics procedures
• Experience in a facility with at least 500 beds is required
• License required if applicable

• Role is focused on scrubbing for a range of complex surgical cases
• Occasional holiday, night, and weekend coverage required as part of call rotation
