American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine for a weekday assignment with a supportive team.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine department
• Perform PET/CT and general nuclear medicine procedures, primarily on oncology patients
• Daily caseload includes approximately 33 PET/CT scans with whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine imaging
• Utilize 2 PET/CT scanners and PACS system
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with flexible start times between 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM
• Optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks
• Required to work one evening shift and one Saturday per month
• Federal holidays off

Requirements

• Experience in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine required
• Proficiency in IV starts and using PACS
• Current BLS, ARRT or NMTCB certification, and state license required if applicable
• Inpatient and outpatient clinical experience required
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor
• Former employees are eligible after a 6-month break, current employees are not eligible

• Responsibilities include performing imaging studies for oncology and other patient populations, including whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine scans
• Scrubs are not provided; grey scrubs preferred
• Supportive team environment for both experienced and first-time travelers
• Holiday work is not required
• Fingerprinting for Ohio state compliance must be completed promptly after contract signing
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Requested time off must be included during initial contract consideration
