American Traveler is seeking a Sonographer with at least 1–2 years of recent OB/MFM experience and current ARDMS certification for an antenatal testing center assignment.

Details

• Position based in an antenatal testing center
• Role focuses on high-risk pregnancies including twins, triplets, anomalies, and performing amniocentesis/CVS procedures
• Patient caseload ranges from 10 to 12 per day, serving both outpatient and inpatient populations
• Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no weekends, holiday coverage, or float required
• Utilizes GE E10 and Expert 22 ultrasound machines and GE Viewpoint software for charting
• Team consists of 10 to 14 experienced sonographers

Requirements

• Minimum of 1–2 years OB/MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) sonography experience within the past 2 years
• ARDMS certification in Obstetrics required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Experience scanning nuchal translucency required
• NT certification preferred but not required
• Ability to perform Level II and First Trimester screenings per AIUM guidelines
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include conducting ultrasounds for first and second trimester detailed screenings, high-risk obstetric assessments, and assisting with procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS
• Up to 5 days of floor orientation provided
