American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT and BLS certification for an acute care IR department using Epic EMR.

Details

• Work in an acute care setting within a specialized interventional radiology department
• 6 IR suites with pre-op and phase 2 recovery areas
• Handles vascular, neuro, drains, and lines cases with an average caseload of 20-30 cases per day
• Day shifts, 9 hours per shift, 4 days per week
• On-call required for weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a 30 minute response time (7-9 shifts in 6 weeks)
• Uses Epic charting system and Phillips monitors
• No floating outside of IR department

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in interventional radiology
• Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Active state license required for consideration (license required if applicable)
• Experience working with Epic EMR preferred
• Certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending certifications not accepted

Additional Information

• Main duties include scrubbing, passing supplies, and setup or takedown of procedure rooms
• Unit has a Charge RN for support during day shifts
• IR techs are supported by 1 PCT
• 3-5 days of department-specific orientation provided in the IR lab
• Scrubs provided
• Negative drug screen required
• COVID vaccination is not required for this assignment
• No radius rule; local rate adjustments apply for those residing within 50 miles
