Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with active BLS, ARRT-T, and MRT certification, and at least two years of experience to deliver advanced radiation treatments in a collaborative clinical setting.

Details

• Provide patient care and radiation therapy treatments in a clinical environment
• Administer treatments for cancer and other diseases using specialized machinery
• Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and medical physicists on treatment planning and delivery

Requirements

• Active BLS, ARRT-T, and MRT from the TMB certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• All licenses and certifications must be current and active at the time of consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include simulating treatment set-ups, performing dosimetric calculations, calibrating machinery, and maintaining detailed patient records
• Monitor patient reactions to treatment and provide education about the treatment process
• Detailed documentation and adherence to clinical protocols required
• No radius rule; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
