Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience for a day shift assignment in a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Work in a busy short-term acute care hospital MRI department
• Diverse imaging including general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac MR procedures for adults, pediatrics, anesthesia, and ventilated patients
• Average daily caseload of 10–15 MRIs
• Uses Phillips iSite PACS, document scanning, and Care Logistics software
• Epic charting system is utilized, EPIC experience preferred
• Day shifts Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Rotating call and holiday coverage are required
• Floating may be required within the hospital as needed based on volume and census

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience
• Experience with PACS and contrast administration
• Ability to perform a wide range of MRI exams including on pediatric, anesthesia, ventilated patients, and those with conditional implants
• Must be able to complete up to 8 hours of facility modules within 1 week of signing
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Work in a Level II Trauma Center with 431 staffed beds
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• RTO and block scheduling requests considered at manager's discretion
• Return staff must have a 12-month separation before returning as travelers
• Travel pairs may be submitted but must be on separate units and cannot be guaranteed the same shift schedule
