Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of general nuclear medicine and therapy experience, BLS certification, and Siemens camera proficiency.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine department
• Rotate between General Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT
• Perform routine studies including bones, gastrics, hepatobiliary, and renal scans
• Use Siemens equipment: Symbia, Intevo SPECT/CT, and Biograph MCT Flow PET/CT
• Day shifts scheduled as 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Call required approximately 2-3 times per 6-week period
• Candidates may float within the hospital or to affiliated hospitals as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years specialty experience in nuclear medicine
• BLS certification required
• Siemens camera experience preferred
• Compact or KY state license required prior to start (license required if applicable)
• Must provide 2 supervisory references from the past 3 years
• Will not consider candidates with license hits
• Level 1 trauma experience required in most units

Additional Information

• Therapy and a broad range of general nuclear medicine duties are expected
• Return staff must have a 6-month gap before being eligible as a traveler
• All time off must be declared at the time of consideration; late RTO will not be approved
• Not accepting candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles
• Annual and onboarding modules are required and completed during orientation
