Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least one year of operating room experience and EPIC charting proficiency for a travel assignment.

Details

• Work in a large hospital setting with 23 operating rooms and 1 procedure room
• Care for both adult and pediatric patients requiring elective and emergency surgeries
• Day shifts are 3x12 hours from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Floating to other areas within the unit is required
• On-call required once per week and one weekend per month
• EPIC EMR experience is a hard requirement

Requirements

• Current NBSTSA certification required, unless the candidate has worked as a tech in NY prior to 2015
• At least 1 year of operating room experience is required
• NY state license required if applicable
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Experience with EPIC EMR is mandatory

• Must be prepared for both scheduled and emergent surgical cases
• Return staff must have a 1-year separation before returning
